Stripes are all the rage this season. In the same way vintage military wear has permeated the fashion world for the better part of a decade, the influence of vintage naval wear is pervasive as well. There’s something simple about a striped knit and it’s contrast. I also think it’s a virile look too.
I paired the rest of the attire today off the striped knit. The classic idea would be to wear a light woven and navy bottoms, but I flipped the script, reversing the layers. Doing a bit of stacking on the wrist with a Timex Andros watch with a gold strap for a pop, the Maritime Supply Co rope bracelet and the Miansai anchor bracelet.
